Rolls-Royce Phantom for 2009

Introduced in 2003, the Rolls-Royce Phantom has seen transformations into different versions such as the Coupe and Drophead. For the upcoming 2009 release, the newest model will feature a new bumper and grill. Luxury upgrades such as LED lights in the door handles, and customer choice aluminum wheels will also be available. For the inside, a state-of-the art entertainment system is place along with a newly redesigned interior door panel. Check out more images after the jump.

Renault Concept Design

Another Renault concept design just surfaced, and its for the Megane Coup. Although I’m not a big fan of suicide doors, there’s something about this concept rendering that allows the doors to be a lot more subtle. It’s a sporty design that still holds its sleek aesthetics. The Porsche Museum

The new Porsche Museum will be open to the public this month on the 31st. A must stop for true Porsche and sportscar fans worldwide, the museum will showcase over 80 functioning vehicles. Victory Motorcycle CORE Concept Bike

Victory Motorcycle has unveiled their new CORE concept bike. Designed by Victory’s lead Industrial Designer, Michael Song, the bike features some great body work with a plethora of touring amenities. The bodyframe is made of aluminum alloy that consists of five main pieces that houses everything. The concept has solid brakes, powered by the same engine as the 2008 Hammer with 97 Horsepower and 113 lb-ft of torque.

Steve McQueen’s Rickman – Métisse Desert Racer Replica

Métisse Motorcycles have unveiled the next exciting addition to a product range. A happy few enthusiasts will soon be able to own a replica of one of the most famous dirt bikes of the 1960s – the Rickman-Métisse Desert Racer, as originally designed and built by Steve McQueen for serious competition use. The company have faithfully reproduced McQueen’s machine and the limited-edition machines are available to order now priced at $19,500 US. Each Desert Racer will be authentically hand built by Métisse Motorcycles in the UK. The replica is fully endorsed by Steve McQueen’s family, and features his signature on each one of these exact replicas. A limited number of 300 machines will be built, complete with official certificate of authenticity from the firm which made the original possible all those years ago.

The Cadillac One will be unveiled today during Barack Obama’s Inauguration Parade down Pennsylvania Avenue. Cadillacs have become a symbol of inauguration day ceremonies and they have been in use since the days of President Woodrow Wilson.This new Presidential Limo features some new stylistic modifications different from those of its predecessor the “DTS Presidential Limo”.

Johnson Controls re3 Concept Car

Reducing weight, optimizing cost and providing sustainable solutions that generate consumer appeal are some of Johnson Controls priorities. With the debut of its re3 concept vehicle at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit this week, Johnson Controls displays its capabilities targeting the growing small car segment. The re3 houses an “extended cluster” with a 7-inch touchscreen, a seat-wing armrest and controller that moves some of the controls away from the dash, and a lithium-ion battery pack that makes use of “active cooling” and is able to be tucked in between the two front seats. The concept car can supposedly fit five people relatively comfortably.

Range Rover Stormer Edition

Land Rover will reveal their limited edition Range Rover Sport ‘Stormer Edition’ at the London International Boat Show this week. The Stormer Edition is based on the Range Rover Sport TDV6 ‘S’ featuring Land Rover’s 2.7 liter, twin-turbo V6 diesel with 190 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque (440 Nm). The exterior is blessed with new front and rear bumpers which Land Rover describes as “deep sculptured”. There are rectangular exhaust pipes along with body-colored side skirts and tailgate molding that give the vehicle a lowered look without having to tweak the suspension. To finish it off, it comes with 20-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels. The interior is stocked with leather seats, Park Distance Control (PDC) for both the front and rear and Personal Telephone Integration. This Stormer Edition will come in three colors – Santorini Black, Alaska White and Stornoway Grey. Range Rover will only be producing 300 of these and will go on sale in the UK in March priced at £43,550 (48,130 euros).

The Cadillac Converj

The Cadillac Converj is a CTS Coupe concept that is both eco-friendly and sleek. Recently revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, the Converj is Cadillac’s newest plug-in/fuel efficient vehicle. From just a single charge, it can be driven for up to 40 miles. Also equipped with a small gas engine that powers the electric motor, the car’s range can then reach up to 400 miles. It may not see production today, but the way fuel efficient cars are seeing more R&D, it won’t be a surprise to be able to drive one in the near future.

IF Folding Swivel Mode Bicycle

At this year’s International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Mark Sanders unveiled his Folding Swivel Mode Bicycle. Sanders, who first garnered praise for his Strida bike, has demonstrated a progression in visual aesthetic with his bike design. Still, he has not compromised any functionality, and the Folding Swivel Mode Bicycle easily folds to fit into car trunks, subway cars, and city buses making it ideal for the urban commuter.
