It’s no secret that the Japanese have a knack for vintage clothing and old workwear styles. With the hunt for the vintage becoming such an even more daunting task nowadays, brands like Phigvel Makers & Co. are crafting their own classic vintage styles for the market. For their Spring/Summer 2010 range, the brand looks to reminiscent of old garage and stable type environments. Obakki – Fall/Winter 2010

The simplistic nature of Obakki is its most appealing feature. While other lines try too hard to add a touch of the avant garde here, or a detailed feature of the historic there, Obakki stays true by knowing where to go, where it stands, and how to present it. For Fall/Winter, Obakki will release a bevy of styles that include plaid shirts, jackets, tees, knits, and tops.
