Maison Martin Margiela Home Line

Maison Martin Margiela, the label created by Belgian fashion designer Martin Margiela, has recently launched a home furnishings line. The line is still somewhat of a work-in-progress, but it was showcased at this year’s Salone del Mobile design week in Milan. The Maison Martin Margiela instillation was a re-creation of the design space where architects conceive all of Margiela’s stores, showrooms, and architectural products. On display were lamps and bookshelves surrounded by white walls, and tables and chairs covered with white fabric. We will have to wait and see what the ever-mysterious Margiela adds to this new line, but you may be seeing some Margiela collaborations with restaurants and hotels in the near future.
