Custom Built Cameras by Leica – Leica à la Carte
The ever-popular Leica camera returns, this time in fully customizable form–so customizable it’s practically made-to-measure. Leica à la carte is available through an online Configurator, a user can choose between the Leica MP or Leica M7, and then delve deeper into over four thousand technical and styling choices. In additional to a myriad of technical selections, options get as in-depth as the lens cap color, leather trim, viewfinder frame-lines, controls, and personalized engraving. So though every shot might not be perfection, the camera will be available at Leica.
Leica S2 DSLR Camera
Not made for the amateur photographer, Leica, a brand famous for their cameras, will release its S2 DSLR camera in October for the price tag of approximately $23,000 (just for the body). The S2 features a 37.5 megapixel, 30×45mm sensor and a sapphire glass monitor. It’s also significantly smaller than other high end camera’s in its class, which makes for better maneuverability and flexibility without sacrificing the quality of picture. Leica Pinmaster
Leica, the brand famous for their cameras, is introducing a new gadget to help golfers get “closest to the pin”. A staple of charity golf tournaments, corporate outings and amateur golf tourneys; “closest to the pin” is a contest that involves getting tee shots that make it on the green the closest distance to the flagstick.
The Pinmaster Rangefinder is a tool that gives golfers the upper hand by measuring the exact distance to the pin. With a range of up to 820 yards, all the user needs to do is aim the Pinmaster’s eye-safe laser beam at the pin. It also features a 7x magnification and a large field view of 347 feet at a distance of 1,000 yards (ideal for playing peeping tom).
Limited Edition – Leica M8.2 Safari
Limited to only 500 worldwide, this Leica Safari edition package comes with the brand’s signature M8.2 10.3Mega-Pixel digital camera, 28mm F2.8 Summicron lens, a leather camera bag, and a matching canvas bag. The package is priced at about $10,000.

The new D-Lux 4 could very well be the best compact digital camera on the market. The powerful D-Lux 4 features a 10.1 mega pixel resolution, a high-aperture professional lens, shutter speed range of 60–1/2000 s, and 2.5x optical zoom.
