Drykorn Spring/Summer 2009 Collection

German fashion label Drykorn was first established in 1996 by owner and managing director Marco Goetz, where they developed a name as a designer for fashionable and innovative trousers for men and women. However, their collection has grown over the years, and now offers a variety of casual styles and classic looks, such as suits, blazers, trousers and coats with an edge. These characteristics epitomise their spring/summer 2009 apparel, where various clothing, ranging from crisp denim jackets to sharp cotton blazers have a cool, modern touch about them. According to their website, “carefully selected garments, high-value manufacturing, and consistent fashion statements are classified as the foundation of each collection”.

You’ve probably already seen the other pictures of Lacoste’s Spring/Summer 2009 campaign photographed by Terry Richardson. If so, here are a few more from the same campaign, which emphasizes more of the men’s range. This collection by Christophe Lemaire is a revolutionary one especially now since Terry Richardson adds his artistic interpretation for the campaign. Yoko Devereaux Spring/Summer 09

New York label Yoko Devereaux’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection fuses trendy street looks with classic casual cuts. The vibrant colors are just right for the summer which includes some yellow, blues, and other earthy tones. We especially like the label’s version of the Harrington Jacket, as well as the half-sleeve hooded parka. Their graphic T-Shirt range is impressive also, which is a great alternative for the hotter days. See the rest of the collection after the jump.
Burberry Fall/Winter 2009 Collection – Milan, Italy

For his Fall/Winter collection, Designer Christopher Bailey marries a nostalgic reference point with modern styling. Like many of the shows this season, the featured color palette is dark and serious. There are predominately black and white contrasts along with grays and plums. Updated Fair Isle sweaters, rumpled tuxedo shirts and boiled velvet suits looked both rich and lived-in. Key accessories include the short capes, rubber-soled boots, knitted pieces and bowties, the new icon of contemporary masculinity. What Bailey does best is deliver disheveled elegance, and in this collection he did it in spades.
