New Album: Evolver – John Legend
Grammy Award winner John Legend’s third album, “Evolver” continues his reign as one of R&B’s best artists. The new album features tracks with the likes of close friend Kanye West, Estelle, Brandy, and Andre 3000. The popular first single, “Green Light” with Mr. Andre Benjamin, was definitely one of the summer’s hits, which set the tone for the album. Kenwood Prodino
The new Kenwood Prodino is a new and small digital mini audio system that is compatible with SD, SDHC, miniSD, microSD, and microSDHC cards (up to 32GB of memory). The system reproduces the files in these cards into MP3, WMA, and AAC audio files. It features a USB port, and provides a maximum output power of 10Wx2. You can also use an external iPod docking station which is compatible for this system, although it is sold separately. The Prodino will release early this November and will cost around $470.

Brooks Brothers Black Fleece Collection
The new Black Fleece collection designed by Thom Browne extends the iconic American sensibilities of the Brooks Brothers name. A lot of the collection were inspired by the Brooks Brothers design archives and reinterpreted by the designer. Items such as the Sack Suit, the Easton Jacket, the Toggle Coat, and many more were old originals, but are now redefined for the collection. Infinity Furniture Collection
Drawing inspiration from the Tibetan Infinite Knot, symbolizing no beginning and no end, designer Richard Zawitz designed this three piece furniture collection. The three pieces are aptly called the Art, Sky, and Sun, with the Sun being the light fixture above. Designer Richard X Zawitz says, “I finally see the first true marriage between sculpture with furniture and lighting.” Zawitz plans to have the collection available for the spring of 2009.

Jay-Z & Coldplay – Viva La Hova Mixtape
All this talk of “ColdJay” has inspired Mick Boogie and Terry Urban to release a new FREE mix entitled “Viva La Hova”. Everyone remembers the highly successful 2004 release “The Grey Album” by super producer Danger Mouse which blended The Beetles and Jay, this mix is composed by different producers most notably 9th Wonder and Cookin’ Soul, it’s definitely worth a listen. Feiyue Sneakers
Originating from China, this France-based sneaker company is bringing their spring collection States side. Feiyue (FAY-wee) as it is pronounced, meaning “flying forward,” will be available at Odin in New York. Surprisingly, the shoes are known for being the footwear choice for Shoalin martial artists in the Far East. Globally, especially during the Olympics, the Feiyue trainers are popular amongst gymnasts, which were worn during the opening ceremonies. This black leather high-top will be available at Odin for $128.
