Now don’t let your eyes fool you: German supermodel Julia Stegner might be absolutely steamy dressed in very angelic all white as the star of these photos for Vogue Germany’s February 2012 issue, but sadly, there are still many frigid months ahead before you’ll see anything like this again. But don’t get down on yourself, even though these shots captured by Greg Kadel and styled by Nicola Knels are a huge tease for the promise of sunshine in the springtime. Stegner’s messy blond locks and ethereal gaze should be enough to tide you over for a while.

Stegner got her start on the cover of Elle after being discovered at Oktoberfest in her home town of Munich, moving on to appear in advertisements for Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior. But perhaps her crowning achievement is an impressive streak of appearances in Victoria’s Secret fashion shows, walking the runway for the lingerie giant every year since 2005.

Even though you might be a little mad that you had to see these lovely sun-drenched photographs in the dead of winter, just give them a little time to let the pleasure sink in. You most certainly won’t be mad anymore.

Olivia Thirlby has been most notable for her roles as a sidekick (See Juno) or the object of teen affection (See The Wackness and Snow Angels).  Brooklyn Magazine caught up with the starlet to discuss her roles in the recently-released sci-fi horror, The Darkest Hour, and the upcoming, drama, Being Flynn – as the adaption of Another Bullshit Night in Suck City – which are two different characters in two different genres.  Thirlby has found great satisfaction from her introduction into theater performance with the Atlantic Theater Company and her part-time studies at the College of the Atlantic.  The interesting concept behind the interview is how the landscape of her former NYC dwelling (She has lived in Williamsburg and the East Village) has informed so much of her characters.  She is now an LA transplant, for which she believes is a good release, claiming that her lifelong residence in NYC had “an overwhelming familiarity that is almost unpleasant.”  See the entire interview at Brooklyn Magazine.

Fresh off the boardwalk (HBO’s critical hit Boardwalk Empire, that is), actress Paz de la Huerta was kind enough to let her exotic beauty grace the pages of the December issue of Spanish Magazine S Moda. Photographed by Eric Guillemaine and styled by Isabel Moralejo, de la Huerta is positively steamy clothed (but not by much) in fur and lingerie in these bedroom shots. Looks from Versace, Mango, and Triump round out the supporting cast, but it’s obvious that the sultry de la Huerta and her glorious, curly dark locks are the focal point here.

Standing next to Adam Sandler, her co-star in this spring’s “Just Go With It”, Brooklyn Decker looks pretty incredible. But lose Sandler (he might be funny, but he’s certainly not easy on the eyes) and a little bit of clothing and you’ve got a recipe for some pretty inspiring images. Such is the case with Decker’s newest photo-shoot for lingerie brand La Senza featuring some snapshots that are sure to capture the attention of almost any man’s eyes.

Earning her start as a prom dress model way back in 2003, Decker is widely recognized for scoring the lucrative cover of Sports Illustrated’s 2010 Swimsuit Edition after making appearances in the yearly feature three times previous. In addition to her first turn on the silver scree in “Just Go With It”, Decker has made several television appearances, including USA’s Royal Pains and NBC’s Chuck. But Decker is moving in a slightly different direction with her next challenge, starring in “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” where she will sport a twin-sized baby bump. Even then, it’s hard to imagine our eyes will move anywhere else.

The cold breezes of fall just got a tad bit warmer thanks to these photos of model Emily Smith by Robert Harper for Naag magazine. Looking positively smoldering in styling from Wojtek Warzecha, Smith takes the fall looks of Valentino and Dries van Noten (amongst others) to an absolute ten. Whether wrapped up in fur or elegantly shrouded by equally red hot drapes, Smith knows how to pull off that ‘seductive’ look that can sometimes be so hard to capture. It wouldn’t be a surprise to catch repeat glimpses of this curled vixen in the coming months.

Hailing from the lovers capital of the world (Paris), photographer Gregory Blake seems to love taking picture of beautiful women, and we can’t blame him. His pictures, some of them totally NSFW, do an excellent job getting the viewer all hot and bothered, creating raw, sexually-charged images without crossing the thin line over to smut. A disciple of natural light, Blake seems to shoot in a variety of different settings, effectively using the sun and its shadows in a pretty excitable manner. But the real stars of the show here? The models, who all happen to have one thing in common: they are undeniably beyond gorgeous. Blake really knows how to pick his subject matter, and for that, we salute him.

Picked up right off the street back in 2005, Lapina has gone on to walk the runway for just about any top-tier designer that you could think of: Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace-the list could go on and on.

Featured in this new spread for Vogue Russia with photographs by Vincent Peters, Lapina positively exudes elegance in this backstage-esque theme, showing off some style that looks to be from another era while remaining entirely timeless. Her blonde curls evoke images of the classic movie stars from a period long gone and the true beauty that only comes with subtle curves and striking looks that Lapina most definitely possesses.

Getting her start on the runway for Victoria’s Secret back in ’06, Huntington-Whitely laid low for a few years until breaking out in ’09 after landing her first Vogue UK cover. She then grew a pair of wings and transcended to heaven, earning the official title of Victoria’s Secret Angel. More recently, Huntington-Whitely earned the top spot on both Maxim’s Hot 100 and FHM’s World’s Sexiest Woman in 2011, while also allowing her stare-inducing looks to grace the July covers of both Elle UK and GQ UK.

There’s no question that she’s still got the ability to drop jaws to the floor with her most recent appearance in the upcoming November issue of Vogue Germany, photographed by Alexi Lubomirski. Donning a red leather trench coat and some extra-sparkly diamonds, Huntington-Whitely is still the dominant image in these photos, and that’s not a problem at all. Let’s hope that next time she pops up, there are less robots, and more images like this.

There aren’t many women that can capture the essence of modeling while still being considered an “anti-model,” but Dutch supermodel Lara Stone is most certainly one of them. Making her debut on the runway for Givenchy in Paris, Stone quickly rocketed through the ranks, landing a spot on the cover of Vouge Paris in 2007. More recently, Stone signed a monumental deal with Calvin Klein, becoming the first model in the history of the brand to be the face for three of it’s brands at the same time: Calvin Klein Collection, ck Calvin Klein, and Calvin Klein Jeans.

Drawing comparisons to another European bombshell in Brigitte Bardot, Stone oozes just enough sex appeal to transfix the eye. In these stunning black and whites from Mario Sorrenti for the November issue of Vouge Japan, Stone looks positively dominant in of dark selections.

But probably the best thing about Lara Stone? She’s rumored to be involved with the sequel to Ben Stiller’s high-fashion parody Zoolander. There’s no doubt she would look great on the silver screen.
