Alesis’s Protrack allows you to record stereo audio directly to your iPod. The Protrack’s pair of cardioid condenser microphones captures 16-bit digital audio in either 44.1kHz or 22kHz. The built in switchable limiter ensures your recordings are distortion free. Files are automatically dated and stamped while recording ensuring accurate organization of your recordings. A pair of 1/4 XLR jacks make the Protrack studio ready by providing connections for professional mixing devices. Litl is looking to make PCs even more ubiqituous in your household with it’s Webbook series. The Litl Webbook’s patented hinge design brings personal computing into your livingroom, bedroom, or even onto your dinner table. The Webboook sports a 12 inch display, a 1.86Ghz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, 2GB flash memory, and is capable of HDMI output. The minimal internal storage is no hindrance to the Litl Webbook, the device was designed with cloud computing in mind. It runs a specialized Linux build that provides widgets for functionality. Included widgets allow for interaction with Facebook, flickr, shutterfly, and internet TV.

The Xperia X10 marks the debut of Google’s open source Android platform on a Sony Ericsson device. The device boasts impressive hardware including: a 4 inch glass touch screen, 8.1 mega pixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, 1Ghz Snapdragon CPU, and 1GB of internal storage with an available SD expansion slot.

Even more impressive are the software features the device is capable of. Specially developed applications extend the device into the cloud. Timescape serves as a global communications aggregator for the device. Messages retrieved from Facebook, Twitter, text, and phone are organized under a universal contact. In this way, the device uses software to improve organization of fractured social media and traditional communication methods.

Mediascape intelligently inventories your media whether locally held on the device or if the media is accessed via the web. The application then will make suggestions based upon your playing habits or even upon the playing habits of a friend you communicate with.

Last year, Google unveiled facial recognition software to reduce the amount of effort required to tag photos of your friends and family. It looks like a version of the software has found its way into the X10. Tag a person once in your X10 and the device will recognize that person’s face in the future. The excellent hardware coupled with the versatility of Google’s Android OS make the X10 one adaptable mobile device.

Sporting a low profile form factor with a body composed of Grade 1 Titanium and a scroll wheel made of neodymium, the Titanium ID mouse brings cutting edge style to the world of peripherals. The Titanium ID connects via wireless blue tooth, is available in white or black, and compatible with Windows and Mac.

The biggest name in vacuums now aims to reinvent the table-top fan. The Dyson Air Multiplier Fan, uses a blade-less design that pumps up to 119 galloons of air per second in a smooth and steady flow.

The Dyson Air Multiplier works by drawing air into its base and forcing it up into a “loop amplifier” where it is accelerated by a jet. When the air exits the loop amplifier, it actually pulls air from its rear side, forcing it forward– and amplifying it 15 times. The result is fanning technology without the uneven airflow of chopping blades. That constant flow of air means steady cooling without those papers on your desk intermittently taking flight.

The design is sleek, iconic and can fit perfectly in a progressive home or office.

While Audi’s R8 electric turned heads at this year’s IAA, the tech-happy German brand also debuted its A4 Configurator. Using Microsoft Surface, the Configurator allows multiple users to create the A4 of their dreams in an immersive 3D environment. Simple hand gestures or motions allow the user to alter virtually anything on the A4, with instant results. Paint finish, wheel and tire packages, and interior color scheme are just some of the options that will be available for the user to manipulate. Whether or not Audi plans to take their tech partnership to local dealers remains unknown, but this will surely be a welcome change from the tired 100-page option booklets that luxury car manufacturers cling so fondly to.

LaCie to brings out a line of new hard drives designed by iconic, Philippe Starck. The aluminum sheathed USB hard drives, which come in two sizes, offer two notable features: Starck’s signature symbol/design and a 1-touch application launching. The drives are standard USB 2.0/480Mbits/s.

The smaller mobile version carries a 2mm aluminum casing in slim form factor that looks tough enough for most mobile needs; the smaller dimensions give the drive a more elegant form factor the full size desktop model lacks.

The LaCie Starck Desktop Hard Drives are available for $130 for the 1TB version and $250 for the 2TB version, with a smaller The LaCie Starck Mobile Hard Drive in 320GB and 500GB versions ($100/$140).

Pentax has announced an entry-level digital SLR, the K-x which will be available in a few dazzling colors. The camera will feature HD video, a 12.4 megapixel CMOS sensor and a “Live View” function. The K-x will be able to capture widescreen HD 720p video and 24fps and 2.7 inch LCD with autofocus. Due out in October in black, white, red and navy blue.

Hassleblad has announced the launch of two new additions to their line of medium format DSLR cameras. The H4D-60 will feature True Focus with Absolute Position Lock (APL), which makes auto focus much easier and accurate for professional photographers. The H4D-50 will replace the H3DII-50 and be available in the first quarter of 2010. The H4D-60 will be available in November.
