Volkswagen Diesel Roadster

“Eco-friendly” goods and services are becoming more prevalent in order to protect the Environment. Volkswagen is trying to join this movement. The German car company will be showcasing their Concept car, BlueSport, at the Detroit Auto Show. This two-door roadster comes with a 2.0 liter turbodiesel four mounted amidships. It puts out 180 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque and pushes just 2,600 pounds via a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It’s expected to hit 0-60 in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 140…returning about 35 mpg on the European cycle and upwards of 62 mpg in “Eco” mode. This Blue Sport is a perfect example that VW is “officially committed to growth with cars that will continue to offer maximum excitement with minimum consumption.”

Project Kahn Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe

Project Kahn has released some exclusive photos of their Project Kahn Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe. The model already sold by Rolls Royce is meant to completely encompass the passenger in luxury and privacy while the driver is able to focus on the road with no distractions. Project Kahn highlights the car with their Silver Mist wheel. The large, custom alloy measures 9.5″ by 22″ making it wider than the stock wheels. This is meant to give “a more sporty and aggressive feel.” This model also will come fresh with Elm Cluster Veneer Wood paneling and dash, Rolls Royce embossed front headrests, Piano Black steering wheel spokes, iPod connector, and a polished front radiator grille. For an added bonus, lambs wool rugs are also included…I would make sure you wipe off your puppies before stepping in.

Peter, Bjorn & John – Nothing to Worry About

The Swedish trio sensation erupted onto the Pop platform with 2006’s “Young Folks” and they have garnered accolades from critics all over. Much is to be expected when the group is set to release their album, Living Thing, in March this year. We are all now fortunate to have been leaked a preview thanks to the graciousness of our beloved beatmaker, Mr. Kanye West. The following sound clip was found on his blog, and we’d like you to have a listen. The heavy percussion via steel drums and hand claps harkens the Neptunes trademark, but that’s speculation on my part.

If I – Justin Timberlake ft. T.I.
Here is a new dance track from Justin Timberlake who once again teams up with T.I. and Timbaland. Not sure if this track did not make the final cut of Futuresex/Lovesounds or will eventually make its way on his new album, either way it’s worth a listen.

Kanye West Samples
It’s no secret that most of Kanye West’s greatest hits are sampled from past songs that were pretty much hits themselves. This video chronicles some of your favorite Kanye tracks, “Through the Wire,” “It all Goes Down,” “Stronger,” “Touch the Sky,” and a whole lot more, with their respective sampled song accompanying it.
Brooklyn Go Hard – Jay-Z featuring Santogold
You can now add this song to a long list of Brooklyn/NY themed rap songs. “Brooklyn Go Hard” is a new track by Jay-Z with Santogold and is produced by Kanye West. The track will appear as one of the songs in the new Notorios B.I.G. biopic, “Notorious,” slated to come out January of next year.
