Converted 19th-Century Home in Charleston, SC
Helen and Josh Nissenboim, a young couple from Charleston, have taken a 19th-century building and turned it into a very comfortable living space. They’ve added modern appliances to their kitchen, but maintained the vintage feeling by incorporating an old farmhouse table. They have also traded shopping in the produce section for picking fruits and vegetables out of their garden and off their citrus trees in the back yard.
