WeSC has partnered up with Norra Norr to create a new line of headphones. The Maraca’s retro design draws influence from the analog equipment popularized by pioneers of hip hop and reggae. The headphones are decidedly oversized, intending to provide the wearer with comfort as well a more immersive musical experience. The Pick-Up was designed with classic turntables in mind. The ear phones themselves sport a circular shape reminiscent of a vinyl record. The hinge arm mimics the turntable arm while allowing the Pick-Up to collapse for improved portability.

The fifth installment of Curated by Arkitip features the distinctive work of famed Parisian graffiti artist, André. 3sixteen and Tanner Goods have linked up together to produce some items that will be coming out in the next few months. A preview from the release includes this tote bag that’s crafted of 10oz. waxed canvas. It also features black English Bridle leather handles and accents, a lift-a-dot nautical closure system, and two top-access pockets on the front. Tanner Goods are purveyors of great leather products so owning this tote will definitely last you a long time. Available in a black and olive colorway at the 3sixteen shop.

With the requisite timekeeping and stopwatch functions, these special edition Swatch Chronograph watches do the deed with a statement. Large and bold in scale, the simple colorways keep the watch from appearing to preposterous, as do the black rubber and leather bands.

Pentax has announced an entry-level digital SLR, the K-x which will be available in a few dazzling colors. The camera will feature HD video, a 12.4 megapixel CMOS sensor and a “Live View” function. The K-x will be able to capture widescreen HD 720p video and 24fps and 2.7 inch LCD with autofocus. Due out in October in black, white, red and navy blue.

Because not every timepiece has to be foreboding and serious, Denis Guidone’s watches play with the traditional expectation of what a timepiece should be. Designed in collaboration with Italian product brand NAVA Design, his four contributions–the Ora, Ora Lattea, Ora Unica, and Tempo Libero–all feature unique design cues, signaling (sometimes with the use of traditional hands) what the time is. For example, the Ora Lattea uses dots, placed where a traditional hand would usually end, while the Ora Unica’s squiggly line’s ends go in place of hands. Available at NAVA Design.

One of the main challenges for a cyclist is finding a helmet that doesn’t look like it belongs in Lance Armstrong’s gym bag. The NYC Helmet, designed by Yves Behar as part of Fuse Project, all but solves that conundrum. Made of a polystyrene inner shell (with ventilation holes large enough for u-locks) and soft fabric cover with integrated straps, the helmet visually is a great integration of the rough utilitarianism of a skater’s helmet and the sleek utilitarianism of a runners hat. The fabric cover is available as an orange visor or as a gray flannel style with a neck flap.
