Michael Bastian Article from The New York Times

The New York Times recently caught up with fashion designer Michael Bastian in his Greenwich Village apartment. The article discusses various topics ranging from Michael’s distaste for the current “trendsters” in NYC who trend to grab hold of every little trend and wear it out quickly (i.e. boat shoes, the d-bag super low v-neck tee, and the ever present warm weather scarf). The article also highlights Mr. Bastian’s clever style of referencing 70’s and 80’s classics and updating them with simple but needed details and cuts, making his line one of the most coveted and worn lines to date.
