German born Marc Jacobs affiliate and Cloak partner Robert Geller has put together a little capsule collection for Levi’s and it’s available to check out and purchase at Bloomingdales online. The collection is a little slice of classic Americana, with jeans and tees the order of the day. The full length denim parka is awesome, and the chambray button down is worth a double click too. Bleeker St. – Fall 2009 Campaign
Each successive lookbook we review this Fall seems to up the ante, and Bleeker St. for Fall 2009 is no exception. Dapper and uncompromising in execution of style, this lookbook could impress all from Broadway to the board room. Photographed by Arnaldo Anaya Lucca, Alex Loomans, Travis Davenport, and Terron Wood, Bleeker St. proves that there are thousands of possibilities within suiting that go largely unexplored. Opening Ceremony Spring 2010

AD MUSIC – Fall/Winter 2009 Lookbook
The theme of music is prevalent in Adolfo Dominguez’s rock n roll inspired pieces. With a strong emphasis on the outerwear in his current Fall/Winter Lookbook, we see the designer’s attention to detail to be a bit more edgy than some. Items such as round studded leather jackets and barely there cardigans give a sense of the rebellious rock n roll attitude. While items like the plaid duffel coat, is a more toned down yet still edgy option. Dominguez is sure to make an appearance at at a gallery opening or runway show near you soon. Comme des Garçons – Homme Deux Editorial
One of our favorites Comme des Garcons had a cool little 3 page feature in a Japanese fashion magazine recently with a focus on the label’s meticulously tailored suits. The editorial showcases Homme Deux as a mixture of mute colors such as blacks, grays, and blues. All the colors and subtle patterns like stripes and solids are evident in the suits, vests, ties, and trousers. It is evident in this editorial that Comme des Garcons sets a standard of elegance that other labels often fail to capture.

Homecoming – Editorial from GQ Stlye UK
A recent photo editorial in GQ Style UK showcases the rougher hewn materials and laid back, muted colors that fit in so easily as the thermometer starts to dip during the Autumn and Winter. “Homecoming” makes sure we know to get our tans, browns and dark greens out of the closet and with the right leather belt and trousers we’ll be untouchable. The lighting is gorgeous, the looks are classic, and its exactly what we expect from GQ.
Brooks Brothers Mad Men Edition Suit
It’s no secret that some of us guys want to be like Mad Men’s Don Draper. Brooks Brothers helps us live the dream and we can even do so without breaking the bank. Old Hickorees – 1940s-50s Hercules Denim Chore Jacket
The hold of American workwear styling on men’s fashion seems to be unshakable and with it’s rugged good looks and utilitarian practicality it makes sense why we love it so much. Online retailer Hickoree’s understands this and has made a lot of great product available on their site. Everything from utility belts and aftershave to carpenter jeans and cologne is there for the purchasing. For looks the nuts and bolts grandfather of us all would approve of, hit up Hickoree’s especially for this denim chore jacket.
Shake Appeal – Autumn/Winter 2009 Lookbook
Shake Appeal was kind enough to send us their Autumn and Winter 2009 look book and first let’s say the settings are very cool. The framing of the archways and the way the green leaves in the forest push the clothes into the forefront was a very wise move. One could say the collection is equal parts affluent young California and European grime. Not a whole lot of options are there for the very cold climates which suggests this is a collection for sunny CA which is fine by us. The looks are very clean and unbranded and the denim looks great. Shake Appeal’s M.O. is taste and the style is executed deftly.
