NikeLab Gyakusou releases a special capsule collection perfect to the upcoming Rio Olympics and they call it Rio in Reverse. This line-up is way more experimental especially with the choice of brighter colors as a symbol of Brazil. All the clothing pieces are highly functional especially with the integration of the Dri-Fit technology. The Distance Short uses light and totally breathable FlyVent waistband with a back pocket on the back panel for jacket keeping or a shirt change. This Rio in Reverse collection will be at the NikeLab Rio space at the Ipanema store by August 4 and for the rest of the world on August 18 in all NikeLab shops and via online as well.
NikeLab Gyakusou is a collaborative project between Nike and Undercover’s Jun Takahashi.
The NikeLab concentrates in sport research with its own institute found in Beaverton, Oregon. Owned by Nike, their lab was first opened in 1980.
