Federal is opening up a Chicago outpost and off to a great start with having the BMW R100 dubbed as The Five for their initial project. The Muller brothers did such a great job in trimming down the old café racer and saving only the fuel tank. The motorcycle now has a front fender, the airbox hole cover, plus the S fair from the Boxer Café. The headlight comes with a mesh guard.
The custom motorcycle’s subframe has been redesigned and it now renders a ride with a dual shock setup. This part of the design approach took inspiration from the Super Duc scrambler of Bryan Fuller. The motorcycle also has a leather seat up top plus an embedded LED for the turn signals and the tail light.
The motor was also treated to a couple of Mikuni VM34 carbs. The airbox was also replaced by velocity stacks that are screened in brass. Not to mention the twin stainless mufflers straight from Cone Engineering to top off the engine package. They have also installed fresh brake lines from Goodridge with the tires being Avon RoadRiders. Overall, you can enjoy a compact and blastful ride with The Five.
Federal Moto can come up with unique motorcycles and other soft goods for the zealous daily adventurer. They are based in Edmonton, Alberta & Chicago, Illinois.
The BMW Group was founded way back in 1916 and considered to be one of the top ten biggest car manufacturers in the entire globe. It carries the brands of BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce which are also three of the biggest names in the industry of cars. They also play lead in the motorcycle sector.
