The Run furniture collection designed by Industrial Facility for Emeco which is based on benches seen in the park or tables in a regular canteen. The main aim of the designs is to gather people round since the items are referred to pieces seen in communal spaces. The collection strikes a good balance between the elements of indoor and outdoor scenarios. Each piece in the line is set to acknowledge the social benefits of hanging out with other people.
Run comprises of a table, a bench and a shelving unit. All of which feature surfaces in anodised aluminum and three other wood types done by Amish craftsmen from Pennsylvania. The ones with aluminum and cedar are perfect for the indoor and outdoor use while the ones in walnut and ash are perfect to be placed in a dining room or in a study.
Industrial Facility was started in 2002 which explores the connection between industrial design and the world in general. They come up with a variety of designs for items that will serve better its purpose in different landscapes usually for world renowned companies in the international level.
