Luca Nichetto debuts five furniture designs for De La Espada at the Festival of Design in Shanghai. The designers looks to American furniture pieces from the fifties era with a modern flair to each. First is the Stella Armchair that comes with curved armrests with legs made out of wood and a fiberglass shell for the seat. It is perfect to fit any kind of setting. Second is the Marlon table which has marble legs that support solid top either out of hardwood or marble. It is very easy to move from one place to another.
The Kim comprises of nesting tables with each presented in distinct shape to be offered either as a set or as standalone furniture. All three are simple in form but boasts of character due to its rich wood surface. Fourth on the list is the Elysia Lounge Chair which is considered the first ever product that the designer made for De La Espada. It obviously exudes of mid-century design aesthetics.
