This new record done by Jack White is something that would prove to be true how fast time flies especially during these modern times. White’s new project is done in a very innovative way when he recorded and released an album in the same day. He played “Lazaretto” along with a B-side cover of an original Elvis Presley song called “Power of My Love’ way back in 1969. The two songs were recorded, pressed, assembled, and offered to be up for sale after just four hours. Hence, it is now dubbed as “the world’s fastest record.”
Rolling Stone reported that the two masters of the songs were rushed straight from the Blue Room and to the United Record Pressing to proceed with the making of the 45s. The former holder of such a Guinness World Record was achieved by a Swiss polka trio group called Vollgas Kompanie.
