This Japanese house is called +node and made by UID Architects’ Keisuke Maeda. It was designed and created on top of a land that also looks subtly like a forest area. It is sloped making it meet a certain node point, and hence it is called by the same name. This is that section where nature and man-made creations collide.
The entire home design looks like gigantic toy building blocks so as to meet the required square footage. The architectural team cantilevered one of its blocks out and placed on the lot’s lower sections. The structure seems to emerge out in the middle of the forest as if you are a bird living amongst the forest creatures and trees.
