Rising chef Joe Isidori gets on a one on one talk with Interview Magazine’s Alexandria Symonds to talk about the chef’s new restaurant, Chalk Point Kitchen. The resto is set to open in April at its Broome Street location in NYC space which used to be occupied by The Dalloway.
Chef Joe Isidori works with the ethos of putting soul and play at work which is all seen in the elements of his new restaurant. As he described it, he likes “seasonal, fresh, and light.” “When people eat my food, they feel like someone’s in the kitchen who understands what they’re doing, and who’s doing it with heart, as opposed to someone who’s trying to adulterate or manipulate a pea 12 ways on a plate,” the chef said in one part of the conversation.
