Be warned that this music video is packed with illustrations to trip you out. There is certainly a whimsy and psychedelic influence from The Beatles ‘Sgt. Pepper’ era. The San Franciscan band does emulate some of those tones although this would not have categorized their sound over the course of their 14-year career. They’ve identified their sound with garage and punk, so it’s fair to say that they’ve been experimental. In this song, lead singer John Dwyer even has a soft croon over the melodic ballad that is eerily similar to Lennon and McCartney. Check the bugged out video creation by Aex Theodoropulos. Sound and visuals marry very well here.
