Nothing complements a man and his style like a precisely designed watch. With Audemars Piguet’s new Royal Oak Offshore 42mm Collection, you get exactly that from a company known for timeless watch making.
Founded in 1875, Audemars Piguet continues the art of watch making from its original home of Le Brassus. Its new Royal Oak Offshore 42mm Collection is a continuation of the fine line of watches that comes from these artists. The collection is based on the first collection from 1993, but with some major changes. Six new models will replace the current lineup in April 2014 and feature new cases, dials, a more refined feel, and sapphire case backs. Black ceramic has been used to replace the usual rubber case accents. The sapphire case back allows you to get a great look at the chronograph movement and the 22 carat gold rotors.
Of the six pieces, four are steel and two are rose gold. For the steel watches, you can choose among a navy and white, black and red, grey on grey, or “Safari” dial. The rose gold watches are either on a black alligator strap or solid rose gold bracelet. These watches are pricey, but are worth every penny. Get a steel model for $25,600 on rubber straps or $26,000 on alligator straps. If rose gold is your style, it is $40,700 for the strap or $69,200 for the bracelet.
