Oliver Spencer is widely popular in the UK because of its association with many musical acts and moreover, a very accessible price point. There’s also that model in all Oliver Spencer shows and campaigns that prompts spectators to say, “There goes that Johnny Depp-looking model again.” Probably the reason that the brand has such a kinship with rockers is the marriage of traditional tailoring and whimsical, urban flair in the styling. Spencer does wonderful donegal tweed outerwear and suiting. I feel that is their strongest signature piece seen in almost every Fall/Winter season from them. I especially love the looks that pair nylon pants or jackets with them. There is also no scarcity of color in this show. The typical gray and navy are present, but a gang of contrasting colors include rust orange (also popular this season), red, really orange, green, and really yellow. Nearly all of the primary colors were represented which is a shock. Patterns made a statement as well with trousers featuring bold tartan plaids and outerwear with large floral prints.
