Corneliani epitomizes what luxury Italian styling is – It’s sharp and slim tailoring, neutral, top tier materials, and most importantly, relaxed. All of the looks down the runway for Sergio Corneliani’s Fall/Winter 2014 show exuded a nonchalant refinement. And while he may have stuck with sure footing for the suiting (which had impeccable and luxe double breasted jackets), there were several smart references that acknowledged youthful trends such as the outerwear with vent zippers, hoods, and mixed-materials. The line-up was strict to its dark color story, never waivering from gray, black, or dark sand. This is a hell-of-a start to Milan Fashion Week. Bravo, Sergio.
