American Indian tribes have considered the Buffalo to be a special mystic creature. Add some of that mysticism this winter with Neighborhood’s buffalo inspired knit cardigan. Neighborhood teamed up with Vancouver based Cowichan (a tribe in Canada according to Google) knit specialists Kanata (traditional knit company since 1979) for this one as part of their Fall/Winter 2013 release. Yes, it is hand-knitted for that special construction story you can tell others when asked about the sweater. While two buffalo knits are at the front, there is also another bigger buffalo knit at the back. We urge you to give them names just as a good conversation piece. I would go with Terry and Baxter for the front two, and give the bigger one at the back the name Preston. Preston “the buffalo.” Not very mystic names, but sounds just about right.
