UNIQLO announced their partnership with tennis star Novak Djokovic on a new athletic apparel line that will be featured during this year’s U.S. Open Championship. Not traditionally known for their active wear, the company has had some experience creating such garments. Their first line debuted during the ’98 Nagano Winter Olympics. With this new Djokovic inspired tennis wear, UNIQLO Creative Director Naoki Takizawa created an aesthetically pleasing line, keeping the company’s design philosophy throughout. Polos, shorts, and track suits make up the garments, which will be available in the U.S. on August 27.
