Riding a bike across the entire length of Vietnam can be quite the journey. But for adventurists and skaters Jerry Hsu, Keegan Sauder, Joey Pepper, Javier Mendizibal, and Michael “Michi” Mackrodt, it was a challenge accepted. “The Killing Season” is a video that shows the trip of a lifetime for these skaters as they travel across many lengths to reach various destinations in which they could skate. The killing season, as it goes to show, is a special time in Vietnam when everyone parties their asses off and just go crazy. But these guys managed to ride their bikes in the midst of all this craziness, with one of them even getting into a minor accident and bruising his leg. To them it was all part of the experience as they faced some of the toughest conditions of Vietnam to get to some of the most ideal skating destinations. In the end it was mission accomplished for everyone as they rode their bikes and skated all over Vietnam, even though most of the trip involved driving.
