Wood Wood’s 2013 Spring/Summer collection brought forth the “Summer of Love” through a recent showing at Copenhagen Fashion Week. The Scandinavian designers were inspired by the American and British movements, known as the “Summer of Love” and the “Second Summer of Love” respectively. Their ability to break free from their existing social institutions produced an interesting type of fashion. With a balance of both street and high fashion, the collection showcases some stunning seasonal favorites through subtle color pops. There might not be a good first impression, but there lies enough to make up for it.
