Two sculptural works entitled “Reappear” and “Disappear” were constructed by Nick Van Woert and feature a funky yet original design. It was made out of fibergrlass and polyurethane and was made with ancient history and nature in mind. The artist utilized his profound interest in architecture and put together a series of red and yellow pieces to construct this vivid piece. The image it gets across is that of a human trapped in a colorful substance. The sculptures showcase a lot of talent as the red and yellow pieces bring out the artist’s exploration of identity and confinement.
