Boston.com’s “Big Picture” features riveting images of India’s recent mass power failure that extended about 2000 miles from Myanmar to Pakistan. It was the largest blackout in history and unfortunately, about 670 million people had to struggle to survive during this time. It’s upsetting to hear that about 10% of the world population was suffering due to a power outage that has no one to blame. Every day activities were an obstacle yet the people still tried to overcome it. They all gave efforts to live normally; seeing that students were still trying to study and barbers were still trying to cut hair. Thankfully, the power was restored today, but the blackout has already made history.
