At a skatepark not far from their Meatpacking District headquarters, New York’s Rag & Bone showcased their menswear collection for Spring/Summer 2013. Ordinary skaters at the park modeled the new collection as a way to twist the familiar. The clothes have a more motorcross feel, since David Neville and Marcus Wainwright chose to display a military and sport-inspired aesthetic. Color-blocked nylon pants and wide-cut shorts pair up with matching parkas and digitized map prints. Motorcross-inspired leather jackets are a necessity for this collection while simply styled tees, exceptionally tailored suits, and trousers help balance the rugged vibe. The combination of influences and inspirations assembled a classic Rag & Bone collection.
