The people of Great Britain wowed the world with the spectacular opening ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympic Games. Warren Elsemore has attempted to do the same, but on a bit of a smaller scale. The creative lego enthusiast has constructed an almost exact replica of the London Olympic Park in which history is currently being made. Pretty impressive, considering that it took him 300 hours to build in a time span of 3 weeks. Around 250,000 bricks were used for the display, which showcases the stadium, horse gaurds parade, aquatic center, water polo arena, velodrome, and the basketball arena. Elsemore’s work is currently on display as an attraction in Central London, where an estimated 10,000 visitors have gotten a chance to see it.
