With a fairly sloped surrounding, the L02CR House stands tall as it exists around a rather unusual geometry. The house is located in Oporto, Portugal and consists of a large volume at the front and a narrowed volume towards the back courtyard. Windows are creatively located to provide the best light and perspective to spaces of the interior, which consists of bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, and a kitchen. The home contrasts between regular/irregular, stable/dynamic, and heavy/light in different areas of the home while maintaining an overall sense of simplicity.
