The Killers released the music video for their new single “Runaways” from the upcoming album “Battle Born”. Director Warren Fu takes advantage of his creativity for the visuals in this performance-based affair. The band is placed against a variety of spectacular backdrops, such as the cosmos and their hometown of Las Vegas. Movie-like scenes of rolling clouds, roads stretching into the night, and star-filled skies that occasionally light up behind them are additional scenes that make the video visually pleasing. Minimal lighting are cleverly used to keep all eyes focused on the band and by the end, the quartet are glowing red and rendered mist-like while they jam, similar to their description of a stumbling, hall-wandering ghost in their lyrics. The full album will be released on September 18th.
