A series of images depicting the phenomenon when small galaxies merge show the extravagance of these cosmic impacts. These cosmic collisions occur when galaxies become gravitationally attracted to each other, and the aftermath is just amazing. Interstellar material that exists between the series of galaxies combine into huge molecular clouds, and as a result, stars form and increased light can be seen. A cluster of galaxies forming really do create a magnificent and bright display, as can be seen from the images. Such galaxy mergers also provide helpful insight as to how the Milky Way galaxy came about, as well as future predictions about Earth and the solar system altogether. All this from a bunch of images is simply amazing and creates endless speculation, both to astronomers and scientists alike.
