Miriam Ponsa presented a collection oddly unique and creative at the opening of the new edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion. The designer’s impressive work was showcased at Palau de Pedralbes and he entitled his innovative ideas as “Golden Harvest.” Inspired the ritual of collecting honey and the construction of beehives, the materials used were latex. The natural environment helped discover new textures, tones, and shades for the clothes, and thus influenced Ponsa to choose the base colors as white and sand. Different techniques were used to design the collection such as manually weaving mixed materials and the technique of tapestry weaving and basket.
