It might look like the tentacles of an octopus, but the Hotel Topazz by BWM Architekten und Partner on a corner lot in Vienna isn’t as slimy as an octo-legged sea creature. Nestled in between a couple of old school buildings, the utterly modern interior features dark wood and interesting wall prints, giving this hotel just enough to potentially keep your gaze inside. Until you see the windows – giant ovals with a printed bench laid underneath are perfect for gazing into the streets of Vienna just in case you didn’t feel like sleeping. For a design that was conceived out of respect for a lack of space, this design isn’t small on creativity.
