Balmain’s Oliver Rousteing has put his own spin on the concept of everything military in the new s/s 2013 collection. Military men are usually standing upright and looking tense, but Rousteing designed the outfits for the look of comfort and ease. He transformed the cliché military wardrobe by putting trousers up above the ankles and adding a pair of loafers. Biker jackets, epaulettes, brass buttons, and shades of khaki and sand were the extra push for making the collection look more at ease. The boxy trousers are going to make another trend this year and I could already see the success.
