Corneliani has taken a step further with leisurewear in its spring/summer 2013 men’s collection. The concept was to transform leisure wear garments into strictly Italian-made elegance and targeted for more relaxed, monochrome looks. The collection headed towards a textured direction with open weave knits and raw materials. Slick leather motorcycle jackets even incorporated tonal tweed panels and double-breasted summer suiting had a mature authentic feeling within nubby linen. Corneliani also structured outfits that blended in with business and pleasure by pairing gladiator sandals with upscale boardroom attire as well as casual fringed scarves that peeked out beneath blazers and vests. The theme Corneliani portrayed on the runway is sure to remain this week and for weeks to come.
