Oh Canada, you never fail to amaze, with your niche for an overwhelming abundance of French people, or your dedicated passion for ice hockey, and now your latest addition to the famous Place des Arts in Montreal, the Salon Urbain, by Sid Lee Architecture & AEdifica. You’ve really outdone yourself this time, transforming what was once a parking area in one of Montreal’s biggest venues into an urban lounge where people can casually meet up before or after a concert, gallery visit, or conference and just live in the moment, whether it be dancing or even enjoying a beer while in the presence of friends. The vibe of this place certainly reflects the hip urban culture of Montreal, giving off that magical feeling whenever you go see your favorite band perform. This place really comes to life during musical performances and is certainly a spot that should not be missed.
