Young Harlem star Azealia Banks’ new music video, “Liquorice” is a dance-rap track from her new 1991 EP, where she engulfs herself in various American iconography. She is wrapped around with clothes that represent the American flag and is involved in an old Western style showdown with herself. Though she is the only character in the video, her rapid singing and cute dance moves easily blend into 4 minutes of good music and entertainment. It’s the type of music you don’t hear everyday on the radio, because it’ll attract attention on its own.
