Odd Future’s resident R&B crooner Frank Ocean is back on the block, dropping “Pyramids,” a gargantuan ten minute synth heavy track from Ocean’s upcoming release, Channel Orange. Split almost decisively into two sections, the low pulsating electronic tones are layered with Ocean’s undeniably individual vocals that hit pitch perfect notes while not straining too hard. Although this track, which seems to be vaguely about a strip club, might be a little long for repeated listens, it sets the bar high for Channel Orange, which will be Ocean’s first release since 2010′s unstoppable Nostaglia, Ultra.
