Although the name references an individual who spends a lot of time on the move, it’s more likely to be referred to on a punnier level – staying the night in this new New York place of lodging will certainly not make you mad. The extravagant interior was designed with help from Parisian, Jacques Garcia, giving the hotel an old world feel steeped in charm without getting too cute. A fully stocked two floor library with an original French spiral staircase doubles as bar with an endless amount of cool, only to be complemented by the threads you can pick up from the very first New York Maison Kitsune boutique located on the bottom floor. But be warned – a stay at the NoMad looks so good that you’ll dread having to return home.
