The Nets will take their talents(?) from Newark to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The long, anticipated move will prove challenging to the organization as they will try to create a new identity along with attracting a new fan base. A start to this process is with the branding of the Nets’ look. They’ve recently unveiled the new logo that features a simple motif that includes a basketball and letter “B.” With simple lettering and black & white colorway, the look tries to evoke a classic, timeless style. This marketing theme also extends itself to the “Hello, Brooklyn” campaign in their newly released commercial. The Nets are attaching themselves to Brooklyn’s rich history and tradition. Check out the commercial, and tell us what you think about their logo.
