After doling out advice on vintage Rolexes, John Mayer has finally made it back to some new music in the form of “Shadow Days,” the first single off of his upcoming album Born and Raised, which is due out on May 22. The video follows the quintessential American road trip, as Mayer takes a pick-up from Idaho to New Mexico and everywhere in between to the laid back vibes of this tune. Even with the rumors that this song is about Jennifer Aniston, it’s still Mayer that take center stage, layering his easy-going voice over an equally happy tune.
