For the past two seasons, HBO’s Boardwalk Empire has amazed viewers with complex and shocking story lines that transcend the boundaries of modern television. What these same viewers probably don’t know is the heavy amount of digital technology that is applied to the show in postproduction. From the setting of the show itself, to the characters faces, many of the digital effects are all but unnoticeable until pointed out here in the video.
