Manchester store Oi Polloi has partnered with Clarks to redesign their classic and unimitatable Wallabee, turning out some literally fresh new kicks. Available in two condiment themed hues, Wasabi and Dijon, this redesign called for some innovative fabric: “unicorn leather”, which is the name bestowed on elk hides at the tannery that produced it, not actually from the imaginary animal. Sitting solid atop the distinctive Clarks crepe rubber sole, these Wallabees can certainly add something a little spicy to your step. Lame joke, yes, but lame shoes – not at all.
