Evoking an entirely acceptable vintage vibe, Korean brand Wooyoungmi has put together a powerful fall/winter 2012 collection by sticking to the basics and mastering them. Topped off by the classic silhouette of a belted overcoat, solid cable knits and turtle necks nestle right up to something that you would see on Don Draper, but with just enough edge to give the looks a modern touch. Excellent leather goods seem to be in play as well, as brown tan briefcases curl up under the arm and innovative tassel boots add some sharp angles to this otherwise straight laced collection. The vintage aesthetic can easily be overdone, but the subtle details in Wooyoungmi fall/winter 2012 collection make it rise above the old-school fray.
