David Gensler, Founder and CEO of the design and marketing consulting firm, the Keystone Design Union took time to show us around his work space in Brooklyn, NY. In our video feature, he discusses his unique and creative solutions to the fashion world. His clothing line, Serum Vs. Venom (SVSV) does not comply with conventional thinking in the fashion industry, and he’s thrilled to share this innovative perspective with the world over.
We were fortunate to preview his latest AW 2012 collection entitled “Hyper-Reality 2.0″ which continues the textile and pattern usage in his previous release of “our Hyper-Reality.” So much of the influence of his designs originate from military garments, and all of that associated functionality, materials, and silhouettes are incorporated into his collections. The counterpoint to the military aesthetic in the collection is the use of “Ikat” and other native-inspired patterns.
The entire collection for “Hyper-Reality 2.0″ as well as “our Hyper-Reality” can be viewed at the Serum Vs. Venom site. Many of the items are available for purchase through their online store as well.
Many thanks to David and his team for welcoming the SwipeLife team into his work space. We wish him continued success with his upcoming projects.
