Now don’t let your eyes fool you: German supermodel Julia Stegner might be absolutely steamy dressed in very angelic all white as the star of these photos for Vogue Germany’s February 2012 issue, but sadly, there are still many frigid months ahead before you’ll see anything like this again. But don’t get down on yourself, even though these shots captured by Greg Kadel and styled by Nicola Knels are a huge tease for the promise of sunshine in the springtime. Stegner’s messy blond locks and ethereal gaze should be enough to tide you over for a while.
Stegner got her start on the cover of Elle after being discovered at Oktoberfest in her home town of Munich, moving on to appear in advertisements for Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior. But perhaps her crowning achievement is an impressive streak of appearances in Victoria’s Secret fashion shows, walking the runway for the lingerie giant every year since 2005.
Even though you might be a little mad that you had to see these lovely sun-drenched photographs in the dead of winter, just give them a little time to let the pleasure sink in. You most certainly won’t be mad anymore.
